Happy holidays from Club100 Towers. We hope Christmas and New Year passed you by well and that you’re in fine form for the new season.

We have been quiet on social media, but actually, it never really stops here, and we’re very busy preparing, laying the groundwork for 2019.

ENGINES

And look what the lovely Rotax people have delivered to us. Not one (but I count) 37 new Engines, the very beating heart (aside from my staff, of course) of a Club100 racing kart. And my expert surgeons are busying themselves transplanting these into our chassis’ over the next week or so.

BRAKES

Not shown but are also starting to install our new upgraded Kelgate braking system, courtesy of the equally fine people at Kelgate Performance, we have a bespoke, redesigned Club100 braking package for 2019, featuring ‘beefed up’ calipers, and new discs, with improved ventilation, to cope with all that POWERRR!!! from that Max Evo engine!

We are out next week doing our own private testing fine tuning the Evo package as a whole, ahead of the Season Opener on the 26/1/19. Everything is looking good.

KART GRAPHICS

We are still working on the graphic package, we are still challenged by making them jet washing resistant, but we have a solution that works but need to tweak the graphic package to be both economic and practical as well as pretty. It probably won’t be ready for the Season Opener on the 26th, so we will be running resplendent Club100 Testing livery (broadly black!). We will have colour for Round 1… I’m pretty sure of that!

TESTING

So we need to talk about Testing and especially Entries (but we’ll save that for another post, coming shortly). We sent an email in mid-December advising that due to high demand we have added extra testing dates, for reasons that should be apparent, demand for the Club100 EVO has been strong and we are feeling pretty confident demand will increase as the year goes (we might have a surprise coming) so we’ve added further dates to our testing schedule, both for regulars to get more action, and as sampler session for new customers looking to become members of the family.
