2020 FORMAT (UPDATE 13/11/19)
Our star championship is set to remain in the same format next season.
Running the 2 single classes (+SHW), together with a Class 1 and 2 system has worked well. It has certainly helped us operationally and allowed us to increase our maximum entry on the more popular events, which is why we have decided to continue with this class structure for 2020.
New for 2020
We will be introducing a 3rd class (C3) for new drivers moving up from indoor or outdoor 4 stroke rental. Current drivers (raced in 2019) who only achieved a C Final will also be eligible.
These drivers will be grouped together at the rear of the grid in each of the heats.
Class 3 drivers will have the option to be promoted to C2 at any time during the season, subject to previous results.
We feel this introduction of the new class will benefit new rookie status drivers and at the same time help to ease the congestion caused with rookie drivers starting at the front end of the grid.
Super Heavyweight drivers will be eligible for C2 and C3 trophies (as well as SHW trophies) next season.
|Warm Up Session:||4 mins|
|Race Heats:||7 mins||Three Heats per driver.|
On 6 of the rounds, both LW, HW and SHW will arrive together and alternate throughout the day.
