JK Rolling all the way to victory

Intermediate Endurance Championship 2019, Rd.1,

A dominant win for the JK Rolling team puts them as early season favourites.

Team JAWS and JK Rolling lined up alongside each other as the top two inters teams on the strong 32 kart grid. G3Pro’s latest addition to the field was the third quickest in qualifying with RG Racing and DDMM Barnstormers completing the top five.

JK Rowling dominated the early proceedings and pulled out a huge lead over their rivals. The acclaimed commentating team of DDMM Barnstormers were next up in second and doing almost as good a job as they do at commentating the sprint races. Seriously, if you haven’t watched the live streamed sprints I suggest you do. They are awesome.

Anyway, shameless plugging aside, a black flag saw G3Pro’s inters squad G360 drop down the order but they had recovered to third by half distance. RT Racing and Team JAWS were battling further back and All Torque Rosso, Mutley Crew and Wellington Wannabes made up the remainder of the field.

JK Rolling were in a league of their own up front and ended up taking an easy win by over 2 laps from their nearest rivals. DDMM Barnstormers came home a distant second with G3Pro G360 third. RG Racing and Team JAWS came home fourth and fifth respectively but there was no disputing the performance of the race winners. If this is the shape of things to come, 2019 could be a walkover for JK Rolling. The rest of the field have a lot of work to do.

All in all the reaction to the new karts was positive and certainly the closeness of the karts was as good as ever.
